Catherine Earp

Romana’s Pilates Instructor
Level 4 Instructor Trainer

Catherine has been a student of Pilates since 1995. She is a Level 4 Romana’s Pilates Teacher Trainer and certified by the American College of Sports Medicine
as a Health Fitness Instructor, a certification she earned in 2002.

Originally from Saint Joseph, Missouri, she took her first Pilates class from
Janice Dulak at the American College Dance Festival as a student at Saint Olaf College. As a Dance major interested in physical fitness, she wanted to learn about different exercise genres.

In her first Pilates mat class, she was struck by two things; first, the level of professionalism that Janice brought to what Catherine had envisioned would be a typical exercise class was far beyond anything she had experienced before. Secondly, she felt her body working very hard with zero pain, which was also a unique experience. She graduated from Saint Olaf College in 1999 with a dance and economics dual major.

She combines her background in dance and fitness to design safe yet challenging Pilates workouts for everyone, regardless of their fitness level. She has a hands-on approach and can help you learn more about your body as you explore movement to bring strength and stability to your everyday life.

When she is not inspiring clients at the studio, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four daughters.

Her favorite quote: “Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.”

- Joseph Pilates.
